Shadow ghost lights

Looking for a wiring guru here. I purchased the Jeep logo shadow ghost lights for my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. They mount under your door panel and when you open the door they cast a Jeep logo on the ground. My question is, is there a wire(s) I can tap into behind the door panel to make these work? I know I can run the wires to the unerfoot courtesy light but that is a pian in the ass because they must be run through the rubber boot. If I it can be done, what color wires would I need to tap into? Just trying to find a better and easier way. Thanks in advance everyone. Al

No. I would take off the door panels run the wires through the rubber hose through between the door and frame then straight down and tap off the interior lights under the footwell (one on each side). That way they always light when you open the door only. It's the same way I tapped my illuminated door sills. Let me know how they look! Thought about adding puddle lights under my mirrors at some point and would roll with the same set up
