Well... I like the way it looks

This made me smile. The other vehicle we considered was the Cadillac SRX and I definitely noticed that the Caddy had a better warranty. But in the end it came down to the fact that my wife liked the heated steering wheel on the Jeep.

So clearly warranty wasn't THAT big of a deal breaker...

Re: Should Jeep offer longer standard warranty?

I ended up buying the extended bumper to bumper warranty simply because it saved me on my last car (2006 mazda 3 SGT) The only problems that I had with that were non-powertrain related well after the standard warranty was up.

There are just too many electronic gadgets in the WK2 and I plan on keeping it for a long time.

In fact im getting warranty work done next week. The fender flare trim on my rear passenger door is loose so they are replacing that. My only beef is that they said it would be about a 1.5 hour wait. I told them i could pop the old panel off and snap the new panel on in 30 seconds (its only 3 clips). They said because it is warranty work they have to let their techs do it. Boo!
