Re: Shudder--Do all GC's have it?

I have 5.7 and shudder/miss is getting worse. i have about 5,000km on it now. Most of what I have read and heard indicates issue at low rpm, 40 - 55MPH and slight acceleration on slight upgrade. I am fairly certain this is an engine miss as I can load up engine in drive, brakes held firmly and bring engine RPM up to (approx) 1500 RPM and I can feel the miss occuring in the engine. Dealer not willing to admit it is an engine miss. All TSB updates have been performed and I believe the driveability update/flash may have actually made it a bit worse.
Would be interesting to hear if anyone else can load up engine as above and get the same misfire occuring. This would help conclude that issue is with engine and not in drivetrain.

Re: Shudder--Do all GC's have it?

My 2011 Overland 4x4 5.7l Hemi was just built and delivered 1-13-2011.

I've put 800 miles on it and have been driving on the steep hills in San Francisco, highway to Lake Tahoe over 7500ft peaks and everything in between. It drives perfectly without any shudders and I can't hear or feel anything when it shifts in and out of ECO mode.

Maybe the new built vehicles have had the updates in software applied and they are working fine.

Re: Shudder--Do all GC's have it?

Mine was built on November 11th, 2010 took delivery December 16th 2010 and currently I have 1500 miles on it. I use only 87 octane fuel and I don't have any shudder, ticking nosies etc... and can't I tell when it goes in and out of ECO mode.
