Shudder--Do all GC's have it?

My wife and I have decided to make a GC our next new vehicle. However after reading about the shudder problem we're starting to have second thoughts about putting down $40K plus for a vehicle with this type of problem. I've test driven several different GC's recently and haven't experienced any shudder--is this a problem that takes some time to develop?

Do all GC's develop the problem?

Has anyone had the problem completely corrected by the TSB?

I've read that the problem will be corrected for vehicle built after early January--what are they doing to those vehicles that they can't/won't do for models with an earlier build date.

Thanks

I have an August build and no shudder problems, just test drive the one you want to get to makw sure.

Not all JGC have this issue which sooner or later will be resolved with a TSB.

Not scientific, but this poll elsewhere on this site seems to indicate it is a Hemi issue. No V6 owners have reported the problem in the poll (yet).

I would reconsider as well if I were you. This is the most annoying drivability issue to deal with on a daily basis. You can buy mine off of me for a bargain......

I had mine flashed and it helped, they are also going to change the front isolator. I love them

Re: Shudder--Do all GC's have it?

Only ~300 miles on my Hemi WK2, but no shudder at all and I'm a particularly picky person when it comes to my vehicles and how they perform. I'm at ~75% suburban driving, ~15% urban crawling and 10% idling. That's not to say there are problems with some vehicles, but no shudder problems on mine.

If I were you I'd wait as long as possible before ordering. There still are a lot of bugs in this new model. Do not purchase one off the lot.

That's a bit of an exaggeration.

Was the shudder present from the beginning or did it take some time to manifest itself?
