Re: Shudder solution!

Dealer also told me it was the torque converter and said to give it till at least 1000 miles on the truck for it to break in. If shudder was still there, they would look into it. Anyone with this prob still have it after the break in period?

If its happening with the V6 you should check this TSB to see if it may apply:

Re: Shudder solution!

Brought my Jeep back, they did the updates and the new TSB, no help. They called Chrysler again and are getting some part mailed to them, i have to bring it in a Third time!! I think that there is no fix for the problem yet, I have read a lot of post about the problem and every one ends with " the Shudder is still there". Has anyone got this problem fixed? NO not yet.

I doubt it considering the new TSB that came out that supposedly fixed BIGALs Jeep was for a 3.6 and his is a 5.7. LOL

litespeedz is just really nice
Re: Shudder solution!

I got my car back today. They told me that my shudder (at WOT at 45mph) is caused by bad bushings on or near the axle (front axle isolator??). They are on backorder. Several replacement parts for my Jeep are on backorder. I don't have any more details because I picked the car up after hours. When I find out more about the "bushings" I will let everyone know.

I am wondering if they did the ESC TSB because the vehicle seems to be shifting quicker (which is a nice change).
