Simultaneous alarms, vehicle phone, airbag, etc.

OK, I was on a short road trip the other day, and all at once, I get multiple alarms and beeps, 1st thing is vehicle phone needs service, 2nd is air bag system requires service, 3rd passenger seatbelt unbuckled when passenger is buckled up, and lastly drivers seatbelt unbuckled when I was buckled in. After about 1/2 hour of driving the car dinged and everything reset. Today on the return trip, the same thing happened, fortunately I think its in solid, so i have something to show the dealer. Anyone have a similar circumstance for this issue or care to comment on the problem?

Re: Simultaneous alarms, vehicle phone, airbag, etc.

Have you had the engine ground strap recall done on your vehicle?

Re: Simultaneous alarms, vehicle phone, airbag, etc.

Yes it was done months ago. I think I will check that connection anyway. Dealer initially told me there would be a diagnostic charge, I was like this is 2014 vehicle under a 3 year warranty. I had already told them it was a 2014. I have read your posts in the past, and unfortunately I find myself on your side of the fence as never having another vehicle with so many problems as with this vehicle. Hard to think I will be keeping it after the warranty runs out.

Just for the heck of it, I'd try a battery disconnect.

1) Disconnect negative cable on battery.

2) Step on the brake pedal a couple times (to dissipate any residual energy).

3) Wait 15 minutes or so before connecting the negative cable back on.

4) Go for a short 15 minute drive.

Yep...that's why I got rid of my early build 2014 Limited...trading it in for my later build 2014 Overland...and I highly doubt I'll be keeping the Overland for more than the warranty (3 years) either.
