Sloshing sound coming from under floor.
Where to start, I have a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, a little over a month ago I had the front windshield replaced with a Pilkington after market windshield, from everything I've read they are just as good as Mopar at a fraction of the cost. The next day I got out on the interstate and I heard a humming sound coming from the windshield like air was getting through, I called them and they came out to reseal it, the next day the same sound was coming from the glass, I took it back to them and the owner worked on it for me, again the same sound is coming from the glass. It's rained a few times and everything seemed to be okay other than the sound, but then it snowed which is very rare for this part of Texas, since that snow has melted I've heard a sloshing sound, like there is gallons of water coming from the floorboards and the carpet is wet on both sides of the car. I've read through every post I could find and I got under the car and pulled the drain plugs on the passenger side and the water on the side seemed to drain out, but I can't find the plugs for the drivers side and that's where most of the water is. Anyways, I called the company that put my glass in and told them about the problems I'm having and the owner said that that much water wouldn't have been able to get down there from a leak in the windshield (of course he says this), but for me to bring it back up there and he would check to see if the sunroofs drainage line is clogged. I'm going to make them replace the glass and I would make them pay for me to have the carpets cleaned if I could prove that the water was coming from the windshield. My questions are what would you do if you were in the situation and does anyone know where the drainage plugs are on the drivers side. My hopes are I can find the plugs on the drivers side and get all the water out of there and have them replace the windshield and my problem will be solved...
