Took it to gas station filled up until pump auto shutoff and then kept filling until it was right up to the fill port opening pretty much, basically until I could see the fuel. No more sloshing.
How the hell is water collecting INSIDE the WK2???!!

Good questions could have been from my sunroof issues and windshield problems but also *maybe* just condensation. Like I said less than an ounce. But I firmly believe this sloshing is gas tank (with a few exceptions for people that have found ton of water in the floor).

I have two Overlands the one without the water under the drivers side floor board does NOT slosh at all.... regardless of how full or empty the gas tank is. I have been hoping to recreate the same sloshing sound but no luck. The water was located on the drivers side and not the passenger side.

That is scary. Based on what you are saying, there could be a lot of people with water collecting under their seat from a bad A/C condensor drain. Can't wait to hear if the OP discovers the same thing.

Re: Sloshing sound from under the car

got a chance to look at the jeep. found passenger side sun roof drain not draining. later on ill have to find where the tube exits the car. decided to check hvac drain, wasted 10 min. searching the firewall to find the drain tube exits from the drive side transmission hump by accelerator pedal. so if you have water on the drivers side i would definitely check this.

On my ZJ it would drain about from the point where A-pillar meets the body.

Re: Sloshing sound from under the car

I haven't done anything about it. I think it's gas tank.

So if you fill up, it goes away? Because 2011JGC could not get his second Overland to make the sloshing sound.

Re: Sloshing sound from under the car

It is the gas tank.. it is a split design and is more forward than in the past. PLUS the vehicle is quieter than past designs!
