No change for 2012, based on ours at any rate. Looks like something out of the Mattel parts box. For sure if it's just sticky-taped in place it needs to be gently pried off, tape removed and the block glued back on with Gorilla glue or something comparable -- including along the side, which is currently not affixed at all.
What were Chrysler's decision makers thinking? Imagine a mom and kids having the engine stall from air starvation and getting rear ended by a semi. You'd think that even if they have no pride in their work that the legal staff that makes the owner's manual a mass of asinine warnings would have flagged this.
