Some GOOFY things on my 2014 V6 Limited

Check engine light shows up, had it checked and was informed that it is a stored code caused by a cam shaft position sensor. Jeep cleared the code and told me that it is probably a bad connection somewhere but if the light comes back on return the Jeep so they can check it again.

Last week the light comes back on, I drove in, they checked and same code, booked an appointment for this morning.

Two days ago while coming back from camping the "aero mode" suspension never goes back to normal with reduced highway speeds or even at a stop. I was able to force "normal height" with the selector.

Yesterday driving home from work I set my cruise at 105 kph, the Jeep lunged a few time then settled in with the transmission in D7. At the next intersection, I slow down but the transmission stays in D7. Selecting sport or the paddle shifters did nothing. I stopped at the side of the road, selected P and N and back into gear but still locked at D7. Transmission resets after a vehicle restart.

The new Toyota Tacoma is starting to look good!

I'll post Jeeps findings when I get them.

UPDATE

The Cam Sensor Actuator failed and caused numerous code errors some of them tied to the transmission which likely caused the transmission error.

It is uncertain if the errors are related to the air ride suspension failure. I'm to continue monitoring it... blah

Did you get some water intrusion somewhere?

That's a lot of systems to suddenly go haywire.

My '13 had a few unrelated systems stop working all at once. The compass, transfer case, QL system, tow/haul button, etc. The dealer troubleshot it down to a bad command module that controls the CANBUS system.

I didn't drive through any water other than what can be found on a roadway after a rain.

Its been a week and no other issues have cropped up. Here's hoping!

Was the "aero mode" suspension an extra? My 2014 Limited doesn't have it. I would have enjoyed it.
