Re: Spanking new RHR losing all memories

The RHR manufacturer is Harman Becker. I can't tell whether Alpine does anything more than rent out their brand name.

Re: Spanking new RHR losing all memories

Anybody know whether the RHR's hard drive is solid state or mechanical?

Re: Spanking new RHR losing all memories

Mechanical hard drives usually make some noise as the platter spins but I haven't heard anything in the RHR other than the disc drive. On the other hand, solid state drives are pretty pricey. I doubt Chrysler would go for the extra expense.
