I do all the maintenance myself. The caliper must be removed to get at the sliding pins. No idea what a dealer will charge for this, will probably take them 20 minutes per side.

So is Yttrium different from Iridium? I assume it must be since they're only marked at lasting 30kish.

The guy said he'd add it on to my initial repair for $30 since I was already having the tires removed for a rotation, but I said no. The input I have received on here makes me wish I did other wise.

I am going in this Friday because on my front windshield the plastic on the bottom part which is glued down(?) is bowing up and he ordered the part (under warranty ) to be replaced. I will try and have the brake lubrication service done for the same price.

The Yttrium spark plug is in fact a copper core plug where the copper is enhanced with Yttrium, which should give it a 50% longer service live.
