Hello all, this is my first post and i hope someone might be able to help...

since i've got my 70th anniversary 5.7 limited  , i noticed that there is an annoying squeaking sound when pressing the brake pedal, it is very obvious when pressing the pedal at full stop or on low speeds, but not that obvious while cruising...now i brought this issue to the attention of the service consultant in the stealership and left the car there to be fixed, it also had some issue with vibrating steering wheel and tendency to pull itself to the right...to cut a long story short, the car was not fixed the first time, the second time they managed to somewhat reduce the vibration almost to zero, and the car still swerves to the right when driving above 85-90 mph...but the most agonizing thing is the freakin SQUEAKING...

anyone had the same problems??? any ideas on solving this issue without having to go back to the morons who call themselves "consultants"

the 70th anniversary that we have here in the UAE comes with 18" wheels fitted with kumho tires, i believe they kept rotating and balancing the wheels until the vibration became almost undetectable, which is fine by me, but while driving on highways over 85-90 mph the car seems to pull to the right quite a bit, which takes a lot of effort to keep pulling it back...

they genius consultant mentioned that they lubricated the pedal, both times, and that it is gone, but it was still there both times, so im not sure if its a matter of lubricating the moving parts...i was wondering if anyone else is having the same issue with their car...

I am taking the car in today and leaving it for the dealership to fix all the below issues:

1. squeaking brake pedal
2. steering thud (tsb already out)
3. driver seat squeak when moving your back against the seat
4. gear shifting out of tune, knocking while shifting (i think tsb is out)
5. alarm goes off for no apparent reason (tsb already out)
6. rear view mirror plastic piece in the back keeps rattling
7. car unlocks itself by itself one a few occassions
8. handle lock button not operating almost 50% of the times
9. wheel alignment issues
10 front passenger seat headrest rattle
11 shudder sensation when driving on low speeds
and miss sensation when trying to accelerate

i am not gonna take the car back until they fix all the above...so wish me luck :slapfight:

Ahhhh....forgot # 12 knocking sound from underneath the car on start up...this started happening a couple of weeks back...

1. squeaking brake pedal-Have this issue too figured I would use WD40 on it.
2. steering thud (tsb already out)Did TSB on mine a while back all good now.
3. driver seat squeak when moving your back against the seatHad this issue they replaced the whole back seat frame and other parts works great now no issues besides noticing the passenger seat does it now.
4. gear shifting out of tune, knocking while shifting (i think tsb is out)No issue here
5. alarm goes off for no apparent reason (tsb already out)No issue here
6. rear view mirror plastic piece in the back keeps rattlingNo issue here
7. car unlocks itself by itself one a few occassions No issue here although the Jeep remote started on its own once even though both keys were hanging on the key ring. Strange luckily I had it parked outside when this happened.
8. handle lock button not operating almost 50% of the timesHappens to me at least 4-5 5 times a week when ever I get out of the Jeep and try to lock it from the door it just flashes the lights just before hand which if I wait 5 seconds it will work then. Strange issue.
9. wheel alignment issuesNo issue here but had wheel balancing issues with highway shaking. Found that bringing the PSI 2-3 higher than 36 PSI seems to fix the issue completely
10 front passenger seat headrest rattle I have this issue and it is starting to drive me nuts which I have to set an appointment for.
11 shudder sensation when driving on low speeds
and miss sensation when trying to accelerate NA here

I also had condensation in both fog lamps after a car wash. Also, had my front door speaker rattling which they put foam in there to help.

Hope this helps a little.
