Stereo Problems

So I have already received an update on my Uconnect 5.0 stereo system and now randomly my stereo will reboot itself when driving, my seat and heated steering wheel will be on high and greyed out so I can't change them, and I've had my radio be on but no sound even though the volume has been turned up. Anyone else having any of these issues?

Re: Stereo Problems

Sounds like you need a new radio.

So took the Jeep to the dealer this morning and showed them the video I have of one of the problems. They said they are experiencing a lot of problems with the 14s. So waiting to hear back and what's going on. I'll update once I know more.

So they have to order me a new stereo. Should be in within a couple weeks.

Re: Stereo Problems

I'm having issues with my 8.4A tonight. Not sure what the hell happened, but it erased all my preset stations, all my tagged favorite artists & songs, can't change the station, volume shows turning up, but no volume, and when the volume bar disappears it's reset to zero, back-up camera didn't work a couple times when I put it in reverse, can't adjust heated seat & steering wheel, takes 10-15 seconds for screen to black out when hitting the "SCREEN OFF" button, tuner knob doesn't work, hands free won't initialize.....all of this since I got home this afternoon. Worked fine when I got home at 5:00, but left the house again @ about 7:30 CST and that's when it all started.

is Chrysler doing some sort of update I'm not aware of? Otherwise, I'll check it again in the morning and if it's still jacked, I'm headed straight to the dealership. I'm gonna' be pissed if I lose out on all that functionality for a week or two because they have to order a new head unit!
