Re: Streak on drivers side window

Not uncommon. Several moving parts inside the door are greased at the factory. Windex will clean it off. If it's really bad, and keeps recurring, a trip to the dealer would be recommended to have the inside door panel removed and the excess grease removed.

I guess I'll mention it upon next oil change cause I've cleaned it a couple times already. I need to get it taken care of before I get windows tinted.

I had the same thing on my drivers window. I just used some special streak free window cleaner for autos (safe on tinted windows too) right before I took my Overland to get the windows tinted this past Saturday. The installer said nothing about it, and the tint job looks great.

BTW, don't use Windex...it sucks (streaks big time). Use the good stuff that leaves no residue and that's OK to use with tinted windows.
