I have a 2015 Summit that had the Park setting activated. I have owned the car for 3 months and about 3 times I have noticed the air suspension not lowering to the Park setting. This last time it happened, I verified all doors were shut including the rear hatch. Does this sound like a glitch that the dealer should look at our is there a reason for this?
Thanks for the reply. Does UCONNECT on the phone impact this setting even though you can't change it on the phone? I DO have them activated within the car settings, though. To answer your question, the app must have logged me out recently.
MDbones meant settings on the screen in the car. Not the uconnect app. Go to settings, and suspension. There should be.....err never mind just read you have it checked.
Understand, it has been checkmarked for entry/exit since I owned the SUV. Still is checked. I manually lowered the vehicle via the center console button and it has worked fine ever since. Something is hokey, though...
It could be coincidence (not that I believe in coincidences), but when I started the vehicle on the morning after my AS failed to drop, the driver's side 'Auto' temperature had dropped to "LO" from being set @ 70 degrees, and the UCONNECT wouldn't play anything on the installed SD card.
Which seems to imply 3 separate simultaneous 'brain' hiccups...
This is interesting. So my '14 Summit did the same thing with the air suspension yesterday and now today as well.
First yesterday I pulls into the gas station and noticed it did not lower when I put it in park. So I'm like ok that's weird and I go into the settings and the auto entry/exit mode is turned off. I always have that setting turned on since the day I bought it so somehow it went off on its own. Then today I get to work and it lowered when I put it in park like it should. I go into work for about a half hour, come out and the Jeep is up at normal ride height on its own lol. Auto entry/exit height setting is still selected.
So this is kind of weird for sure lol. My suspension has a mind of its own apparently.
I think there is a glitch in the software. Mine does it a few times and the setting in the menu has always had it activated. If it keeps up, I'll be making a trip to the dealer.
It has happened to me as well but I think it's more of a glitch than anything else. It has also raised itself from park mode to normal after hitting the auto start. I was walking to the jeep in a parking lot and watched it raise up so be careful of that. I have also seen it fail to lower after a door or the back hatch has been open for a bit after being turned off. Overall the system works pretty reliably but there is the occasional hiccup.
I have a 2015 JGC Summit and the air suspension is doing the same thing described in this thread. Intermittent non-return to 'park' height setting. It seems to consistently happen when:
After driving at drive height, put into Park
Shut engine off, system starts to auto-lower
One or more door(s) opened during the lowering
The first time I brought to dealer, they stated the system is working and there are no problems (no surprise). I brought back to the dealer and re-created the issue for them. No resolution at this point - still at dealer.
Will post dealer resolution (if it fixes anything).
When it wouldn’t go into park/exit I raised up and putted around the block in OR2. Still wouldn’t go into p/e on it’s own. I tried to lower manually both times, but no luck, stopped at NRH, kept blinking @ buttons, no arrow on cluster, no movement.
Maybe it will self heal by morning?
