I also sent the card back saying I haven't owned my previous 2012 Overland in over 3 years, yet I still get the recall letters for it. Just got another one last week for the 2012. I noticed with this recall letter, they stopped including a card to send back to notify them that I no longer own the vehicle.

Re: Sun Visor Recall...AGAIN?

Just had this recall issue fixed yesterday. It appears they replaced the visors on both sides. There are still tags with part numbers on each visor, 1LS25HDAAG &1LS27HDAAG.

Re: Sun Visor Recall...AGAIN?

I just got my Jeep back as well. I dropped it off to replace a water pump, thermostat, and hoses (overheating); while the vehicle was being serviced, they replaced the sun visors (my 2nd time I think). The sun visors have the same tag numbers as above. It seems that the new visors are lower grade than what the vehicle came with: lighter, thinner, more simple construction, almost more flimsy. I wish I took a picture of the old ones to compare.

Re: Sun Visor Recall...AGAIN?

I'm glad someone else noticed the gauze and cardboard like lack of quality of the replacements. It's not that they are bad exactly but they are not replacements in kind, they are Chrysler cheap garbage. Even the plastic circles around the screws pop off daily. I feel robbed from this, the TIPM, the dealers being unqualified as anything besides door stops, heck buying into jeep for the 20+ time. Such a beautiful platform they borrowed and they nickel and dime it to an irrecoverable place. There should be accountability and oversight to a larger degree.
