Re: sun visor - retention clip very loose?

I have the same problem, driver's side only. I'd think that the fix is just to replace the clip...

Same with mine. Annoying and dangerous. I hope there will be a fix soon.

Re: sun visor - retention clip very loose?

The visor retention clips, the dashboard vent louvers, and the HVAC fan speed knob - all feel cheap and move/turn/unclip way too easily. Don't know what they were thinking when designing them, I thought Jeep = rugged? A jolt will shift the vent louvers, and I have to concentrate to turn the fan speed one notch as the stops are hard to feel while driving. I was in a rental Chrysler van a few weeks back with the same HVAC control panel and the fan speed knob felt much more "robust". Don't know why they changed it for the Jeep, do they think little old ladies are driving these things? I checked a 2012 in the dealer's lot while getting an oil change and it was exactly the same as my 2011.

Re: sun visor - retention clip very loose?

My driver side visor had this issue - they only replaced the clip.... picked it up and tested it... no change. they didn't bother to test it themselves! idiots. They then replaced the actual visor and everything seems ok now (with the visor at least - other issues persist though!)

Same issue on driver side only, took it in for an oil change and told the service mgr about it. They claim they replaced the clip but the problem persists.

its not the clip, my dealer did the same and didn't fix the problem.
The problem is the visor itself. ones they replaced it under warranty there is no issues.
