Had a deluge last week and noticed a drip at the top of the tailgate which begs a question. Is the rubber seal at the top (need a stepladder to see) suppoed to seal against the roof when the tailgate is down ? (See picture: tailgate is to left and roof is to right, not talking about the opening at the end). There is quite a noticable gap on mine and corresponds to the leak.
If not, how do you adjust it (am sure there is a procedure but is not in the service manual) ? YWTK

One of these is a diesel:
The rubber seal between the roof and lift gate on mine looks nothing like yours, Padgett. Much, MUCH more of your gasket is showing. Mine is smooth and even with no gaps. I'd take it in and get that fixed.
its not that padget...its one of the rubber seals for the wiring looms between the tailgate and body. Each loom as a rubber cup like that seals the loom from water where it enters either the gate or the body.
