The airbag light came on

The airbag light is on. It seems to early for issues like this. I am taking it to the dealer on Tue. Did anybody else have the same problem?

Re: The airbag light came on

nope *knocks on wood*

I've been beating mine up pretty good in the first month of owning it so I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about little issues like these popping up.

Check under seat make sure nothing is jammed under there. Both passenger and driver seats. With advanced air bags there is usually a weight switch to activate airbags or to reduce power. Sometimes stuff under seats can interfere. It's happened to me before.

Re: The airbag light came on

Took it to the dealer yesterday and they still do not know. Plus i had to pay 23$ for a rental( it is suppose to be free but they have a 5 $ fee + 18 for insurance) this is ridiculous

Re: The airbag light came on

With the 05-'10 WK's you could set off the air bag light if you laid groceries or even a laptop on the unoccupied passenger seat while driving....

Are your seats perforated? If yes, I see that as a possibility.
