Sorry to hear, yes do take it to another. I've advanced my appointment to Monday. I'm guessing mine will either get a TXV changed unless the compressor is deemed faulty at their watch. When mine got a regas a few days ago, they had to claim "a part number" to associate a warranty claim, otherwise a claim could not be submitted - so a TXV part number was assigned. Heck, if it was as simple as that, they should have assigned a TXV and a compressor for all I care...

Re: Thermal Expansion Valve TXV Location

I am having this exact same issue on my 2013 WK. No one has posted to this thread in a while. I had a dealer check my AC system this week and they said that although they observed the noise 1 time over 10 minutes they did not know what it was. They claimed to have checked system pressure. So, is this the TPX, low coolant or the compressor mates? My unit has the same sounds as the video posted earlier.

I'm not sure where you are located, but Chrysler over east seem to be aware of the problem and should instruct the dealer to place order for a replacement compressor and evaporator unit under warranty. Print out the thread and your dealer should act on it accordingly. It would be a waste of time troubleshooting it.

Your compressor will look to be operating perfectly, dropping in and out at the exact operating pressure. I had a TXV changed out (I was told) that didn't fix it. Only after my persistence did they change out the compressor before ripping out the dash to replace the condenser. This fixed the noise. Now when I say fixed it, when the car has had a spirited drive, on very rare occasions can you hear a very faint noise. This does not concern me. I'd insist on a compressor and TXV change Mate.
