Hello.. Thought I would mention that I just had to have the Thermostat Housing on my Grand Cherokee Laredo, Off road package, 2012 JEEP with 3,000 miles
replaced. While randomly checking under the hood I found a leak. Anyway.. I just got my Jeep back after 9 days in the shop. (The thermostat housing was on backorder. which makes me think this is a bigger problem with 2012's) The dealership was awful and said that they would not loan me a car. I immediately called Chrysler and I have to say they were excellent with me. They called the dealership and made them provide me with a loaner and did their best to expedite me the part. They were in constant contact with me along the way and were on top of it -- AS THEY SHOULD have been!!!!!
Anyway.. If you have a coolant leak it could be your thermostat housing.

My 2012 GC had the thermostat housing replaced at 2,000 mi after it leaked fluid on my garage floor. It leaked and was replaced again at 4,000. It is now in the shop at 7,000 for the 3rd thermostat housing repair. Seems to be a known problem that they do not know how to repair. I purchased in March 2012 and 3 such repairs in 7 months is a real problem.
