Keep us posted as to what this may be. Really curious to find out even though I won't get a QL (for my 1st JGC anyway). I remember skimming over a thread regarding QL Fail in the sand but don't remember if that was for a MY14 or not nor do I remember if they discovered what the issue was in the end.

Been out all day, so I hope later is better than never. What you need to do is turn your headlights off, manually, on the dash, and set the headlight off setting; then turn your headlights to the manual on setting on the dash, and adjust the headlights on setting. Leaving the check box set to auto will give you the desired setting on your display when your headlights are set to auto on the dash knob. Setting the display check boxes to day or night will give you that display setting. I know it's kind of confusing. It took me a little while to figure out. I probably wouldn't have bothered, but my wife was complaining about how bright the display was at night. You know how that can be!

Started having our first problems today, the USB and the Sd card will not work and a message came on the screen saying the phone is not working and a red light on the rear view mirror came on. The next time we started the Jeep everything worked for a while but the USB and Sd card froze up again and have stayed frozen this time

This is the same exact issue I had. Problem started off with the message and spread to the USB/SD slots no longer reading. Dealer looked at it and decided to order a new radio since they have no updates they can perform on the radio. This will take 2 weeks to get in and then we'll see how long it takes for them to perform the swap. I did the factory reset to get everything working normal again. Only problem is you lose all radio presets and if you flagged any songs as favorites, those will disappear as well. I would take it in to the dealer before trying this since it will delete any logs the radio stores.

Nav recalculates every minute or so telling me to make every turn, right or left

Late yesterday I tried to raise the Jeep and it worked. When I lowered it, everything was back to normal with the exception of the check engine light being on.

Today, after my third stop, and after a coat of wax, the check engine light stayed out.

I'm not sure it would be worth bringing it in to the dealer. Maybe it would be better to go back to the beach and see what happens.

With all those issues would you guys mind posting your UConnect software version and build date. So far my only problem is "memory issues" described in this thread:

UConnect 2014 memory issues

I'm on 13.10.0 and my Jeep was build on April 6, 2013.

Re: Those who have a 2014, any problems? or problem free?

Prior to pickup I noticed defects in the tailgate paint with a crack on the left mid-section and bubbling up underneath on the left side near the tail lights. Looks like a re-paint of that panel. I also noticed a very small spot on the drivers door but that looks like it can come out with a wet sand. Other than that the tailgate is misaligned with the rest of the body where it is very noticeable and the tonight I've noticed that the passenger doors are not fully aligned with the body. The dealer is taking care of the issues, the other option was to wait for the order to come in and then deal with whatever it had. The car drives very nice and it looks great... The paint issue left alone would not maintain its integrity and the alignments I've been assured will be handled without issue. I am concerned about paint match on the bottom tailgate panel but taking a wait and see approach.

I definitely will be going over my new 2014 GC Limited with a fine tooth comb when I take delivery this coming Monday!

If I even find ONE defect, I'll tell the dealership it needs to be fixed before they get my money!

Condensation on headlights on first 2 nights...nothing since

Uconnect issue ... Seems to be my own stupidity ... Forum helped resolve---- night day setting ...there r good tips in this thread on how to use it.

Tail gate needs to be aligned.... Tight on the left side... Dealer this week

Driver door .... Needs adjustment .... It is Slightly higher and stocks out just less than a quarter inch when you look down at the lines .... Dealer this week

Always use streaming ... So really don't see using. SD or USB much......but those seem to be what causes the most issues for users in the forum

Used assist several times... Very friendly...forum knows more.

Re: Those who have a 2014, any problems? or problem free?

After 2000 miles, we're generally happy and haven't been affected by some of the bigger issues, but the quirks we've had or things that I've noticed:

1. Memory seat buttons do not affect SiriusXM presets - it sets presets per driver for regular radio, but doesn't change XM presets.
2. Buttons on back of steering wheel that scroll through presets do not work for SiriusXM - just tunes to the next channel instead of going to the next preset.
3. Quirky memory issues with settings (there's a thread on here) where checkboxes wouldn't stick. I think some of it was operator error where we were trying to change while in motion, but something about it is still confusing or screwy.
4. The QL suspension got hung up once and left part of the car raised and part of it lowered. Had to turn off and on and drive it around the block before it fixed itself.
5. The CD player (which we didn't need) kills all storage space.
6. Fuel mileage for our V6 - mostly non-highway driving in ECO mode - is no where near the EPA estimate yet - we're averaging 15.1. Not the end of the world, but hoping that bumps up a bit.

But, in general, we love the thing
