Re: Those who have a 2014, any problems? or problem free?

I won't be going back to the dealer I purchased from. After all the warning lights came on last week I called the service dept. First they said that since I had driven on the beach the problem wouldn't be covered under warranty. He also said I would have to drop the car off today and wouldn't be able to wait for it. Further, he said I live to far for a ride home.

This morning I stopped at a dealer closer to home. I would have purchased from them, had even stopped in and spent a little time going over what I would order when the banks opened. The salesman never called me back.

Anyway, the warning lights went out on their own, but I wanted to see if they thought I should make an appointment to have it checked out, or see if the lights come on again. The service manager's response was, "give me the fob, where did you park?"

He had somebody checking it out before he even had the work order done. The found the stored codes and the computer directed them to the Star number which Milous had referred to. The took the ground wires off and cleaned up the connections. They had no problem with it being on the beach.

Holden Dodge will get all my service work.

Sounds like they may even get your future orders to me. Not sure I'd even order from a place if someone gave those types of responses to issues I was having. Good you found someone that could help though...

Why is it Dodge Dealerships know what they hell they are doing when it comes to Jeeps? Jeeps service department is lacking. I have my Jeep serviced at my local Dodge dealership. I would probably have my Jeep serviced at the dealership I bought my Jeep from but it's an hour away :-(

Glad they are finding the issues with your Jeep Bill.

Wonderful, guess I'll be visiting the dealer soon and I'm sure they won't know what to do.

WHAT!?! That is terrible - is it worth reporting them to Chrysler? I mean, the vehicle is meant for offroading, trail rated or not. It's sad that the sales and service department are not always on par with their services that we are forced to buy at one dealer and service at the other. Glad the truck got fixed and it seems that Jeep is slowly getting fixes for issues mentioned on here.

They are actually a Jeep dealer now, but it's not in their name yet.

Back in '09 when Obama's car czar was reducing the number of dealerships they took the Jeep franchise from one dealer in Dover ... and gave it to this dealer, 2 miles north. It wasn't political, it was to cut costs.

Re: Those who have a 2014, any problems? or problem free?

So after a few weeks with the jeep I can report that it has been just about flawless. For the record I ordered a limited lux II, with ORII, ra4, and advanced tech. I waxed it last weekend so inspected the paint very closely, no flaws except for a tiny scratch on the rear hatch from hitting the garage door . A little pipe insulating foam snapped onto the metal parts of the garage door will prevent any future mishaps.

No problems with tailgate alignment or water in lights or around the pano. roof. QL has twice said raising for an extended period, several min. while driving. Once wife put jeep in park mode at a stoplight and everything went back to normal. Once light went off after about 3 min.

The other issue I've noticed is channels that are programmed as hd radio channels will sometimes go to the hd and sometimes not. Even though the hd channel is completely in range. Drivetrain wise, shifts seem smooth most of the time but throttle response is delayed a little too much for my tastes in ecomode and I consider myself a little bit of a hyper miler. I think chryco. could have split the difference between Eco mode and standard. V6 8 speed are a great combo IMO. Have also noted a few clunky downshifts when stoping. Nothing severe and not to often but it will catch your attention. Sorry for such a long post but wanted to put my experience out the after reading so many others. Btw, love the adaptive cruise way more than I though I would.

I don't know. The next day everything worked as it should and has up till now. Well except for my vehicle requiring 4 clicks of the keyfob to get the liftgate to open. That one still annoys me.

Nothing but problems so far. uconnect doesn't work. Battery dead last 3 mornings. Liftgate out of alignment. Service guys at dealership don't even know how to work on it because it is so new. They did manage to scratch my front bumper and my dash while poking around today. Can't believe i have to take it back in on wed. for them to poke around some more. wish mine would of been stuck in inspection, instead of just shipping it to me after quality control inspection.

Re: Those who have a 2014, any problems? or problem free?

I took the Jeep to the dealer this morning to see about the sd and usb slots not working. After an hour they agree that they are not working and I should come back in a couple of days so they can call tech support and get more info on it....WOW. I went into the Engineering screen and reset to factory default now everything works except the easy exit setting. I keep checking the box and it unchecked itself.

Sooo After 200 Miles on my car they are replacing my entire headunit because of the "phone requires service" error that is coming up. My dealer called the Chrysler techs and they adviced there is something bad inside the unit so they are repalcing the whole thing.

Ughhhh!
