Re: Those who have a 2014, any problems? or problem free?

Went out of town on Friday for a wedding and got home today...after 180-ish miles round trip, I've noticed that my passenger side fog light has fallen out of the bumper...I called the dealer and have an appointment on Monday...debating on whether or not I should try to disconnect it, or leave it there until it's fixed Monday.

I'm concerned that it could get damaged just resting there somewhere inside my bumper.

Crisis averted for now...lol. I had to reach up under the fender liner on the driver side to figure out the orientation of the light that hadn't fallen out. Then was able to snap the passenger fog back in place and made sure it still worked.

Seems like these fog lights just snap into the bumper and are held on with like 3 or 4 tabs.

I'll have to keep an eye on it and see if it falls out again.

Well, our Overland didn't really have any of the Uconnect issues for the first 2500 miles....now we've had two in the last two weeks. One day the screen froze on the radio screen and no touch buttons at all worked. Stopped, restarted, and all worked again. Then, the other day, my wife was driving and said the screen went blank AND the info display/speedometer went blank as well. After stopping and restarting, it worked again. Annoying little gremilns....here's hoping there's a patch or fix soon.

The gauges not working and all going dark were my very first problem... shortly after that, I was on the highway... it would not accelerate, then the whole car shut down, right in the middle lane. Dealer had it for almost a week, said it was my left catalytic converter. The day after I got it back, it would not accelerate from a stop light... they had it for I think 4 more days. Replaced the oxygen sensors.

Now I had it towed back to them on Saturday... could not get it to drive over 2 mph out of my driveway.

@marosenb - that, I think, is the scariest thing -- when it dies in the middle of the road. There is no more helpless feeling than that. I just heard back from my dealer. They said the "4x4 module" needed replacing. They have put another 150 miles on my truck and said it is fine. So out of 750 break-in miles, 250 have been from the dealer. I wonder who has been driving my truck and how they have been driving it.

Very glad my lawyer has agreed to submit papers to Chrysler to get me out of this one as soon as I have the paperwork on this most recent round of "corrections."

Re: Those who have a 2014, any problems? or problem free?

Picked up Black Overland V6 last weekend and it has been great so far with one exception. I have a vibration in the steering wheel at about 65 - 70 mph. Dealer noticed it too and stated they have road balanced the tires, tried swapping tires with another Jeep and even replacing the driveshaft per Chrysler recommendation and unfortunately it still persists. The shake isn't terrible but noticeable and to me, is symptom of tires needing rebalanced. Again, they mentioned they swapped tires with another Jeep and it didn't fix it. It's a new dealer I bought the Jeep from so not sure how good they are but they have been very accommodating so I would hope they are legit and are executing what they say. Have to bring the Jeep back after the holiday weekend as they want more time with it. May try rotating the tires myself to see if it improves. Anyone hear of similar issue and better yet fix?

Re: Those who have a 2014, any problems? or problem free?

2014 V8 Overland here a couple of the driver side DRL led's are out looks to be a section of three so i doubt they burnt out have an appointment tomorrow morning to see whats up. Think I had one reboot on the Uconnect and one no screen display when i started it one time just bought it this past monday. The Rebooting of the uconnect didn't surprise me because I have an Alpine nav system in my other car and it reboots all the time It's an Alpine thing I think they never update crap they just make new systems and the old ones get left behind.

I just bought my JGC because my 2009 Pathfinder has stalled 4 times in the middle of the highway since we owned it from day one. Very scary It's crazy the things that caused the stalling in the first place. First time it was a relay second time it was a break pedal sensor putting the suv into limp home mode in the middle of the highway 3rd time it was the relay again 4th and last time it's the accelerator positioning sensor in the pedal. I didn't even trade it in because it's just not safe these companies are going to get people killed every time it stalled it never gave warning lights just quit in the middle of the road no breaks no power steering nothing. Hope this Jeep never does that. Going to keep the Pathfinder in the garage to get all my money refunded that i spent on getting it fixed because everything that has gone wrong with it eventually gets on the recall list I guess after someone dies or gets seriously hurt.

Someone talked to UConnect in another thread and they pulled the apps, and they may be back next week (forget which thread).
