Throttle Response Lag

Can anyone help? I have a 2011 GC and when I give it gas to pass or even at low speeds, I feel the throttle goes away for a second and then picks up. I know this isn't normal.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Throttle Response Lag

I recall reading somewhere that turning off the hill start assist in the EVIC eliminates this
But then again, do you want to deal with some lag, or rolling down a hill into another car...

I have the same issue with my 2011 WK2. It's most noticeable when the engine is cold. Sometimes a little dangerous pulling into traffic.

I'll try turning off the Hill Assist mode and see if that helps.

Re: Throttle Response Lag

I believe there's a TSB out for this (TSB 18-012-11a). See this thread for more details, and be sure to let us know if you notice any difference after getting the software update.
