Touchy Door Lock Button ... and Solution

I thought the little door lock buttons on my 2012 GC LTD were "acting up" as sometimes I had to push 3-4 times get the door to lock and beep. Turns out that if you push the very center of the button, it does hesitate at times. But if you push the right or left "edge" (somewhat like a rocker or toggle) it works 100% of the time. Go figure. Anyone else had that experience?

You're not grabbing the handle while trying to lock are you? See attached.

Re: Touchy Door Lock Button ... and Solution

What n0bread said...when mine doesn't lock properly, I invariably realize that some other finger is in the "forbidden zone" and keeping the door(s) from locking.
