Swapped out the transfer case fluid over the weekend. The process was easier than changing my oil. While it isn't "due" (40k, schedule A says 64k), my agreement with Amsoil requires that I run their products in the race and tow vehicles. Which I am happy to do if all I have to do is put a little labor in
Anyway, figured y'all might be interested in seeing the old and new fluid. Of course, the old stuff may or may not have been the same color when new. Also, I didn't do a lab test either. However, I would say that the fluid didn't smell different (burnt) at all.
