Turn Signal/Wiper Stalk Going on by itself

I'm having some weird issues with the stalk used for the turn signal and the wipers. I though it was something I was doing, but now it's happening more frequently. If I hit the stalk to engage the turn signal (left or right); the wipers start to go like I turned them on. Then once the turn is complete and the stalk moves back to its original position, that also engages the wipers. It happens more often now and with different settings almost...so sometimes it will go three times (like I hit the wash function) or sometimes the will keep going like I turned them on and I have to turn it off myself. Has anyone experienced this? I have a 2011 Laredo.

Re: Turn Signal/Wiper Stalk Going on by itself

Sounds like a shorted wire in the stalk. Dealer visit is in order.
