Re: Uconnect phone not working all of a sudden...

Talked to Uconnect helpline. Droid 2 global is not yet supported but "they are working on it since they know it is a popular new phone." So keep the faith, they fixed the acceleration lag.

Re: Uconnect phone not working all of a sudden...

Fix!

As per the other threads, pulling the M10 fuse on my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee was the fix. I pulled the fuse, turned the eletrics of the car on, let the radio boot up, then turned it off and put the fuse back in, shut down and restarted.

Worked just fine afterwards.

PS: thanks to the great info on these forums, I had to register and reply,

The fuse pull worked for me as well, exactly as described. Saved me a trip back to the shop, for now at least. Thanks so much for the info!

Hmmm... similar issue popped up for me this weekend.
Have a slot at the dealer tomorrow.
Will try M10 fuse pull and report back!

Thanks!

I forgot to mention, this m10 fuse trick ALSO fixed my center console usb port, which was not working as well.

Re: Uconnect phone not working all of a sudden...

Grrrr.... fuse pull didn't work. Dealer said my software is up to date and he could pair phones fine (even iphone).

WTF? I need my phone to at least make and receive calls! I wouldn't be that bothered if I couldn't stream music over bluetooth, but calls I need!

I pulled the M10 fuse, turned Jeep to 'ON' position. let it all boot up and sit for a few minutes, turned Jeep off, re-inserted fuse. Waited. Turned Jeep on. Re-paired phone. Still same problem.

Droid X.
Had worked flawlessly doing everything since Feb when I took Jeep off the lot.

Any other ideas?

Has Verizon recently pushed new software to their phones potentially resulting in this problem?

Tank, what kind of phone do you have?

Re: Uconnect phone not working all of a sudden...

Fixed.

Did a bunch more troubleshooting....

Ended up being something with my phone. Not sure. I ended up resetting the whole thing back to factory settings and deleting everything. Works fine now. Phone calls, A2DP bluetooth music stream, SMS read and send.

Re: Uconnect phone not working all of a sudden...

I have an evo 4g...bluetooth worked well from sept up to january or so...dealer replaced the radio unit, i reset my phone to factory settings..worked for a little while..then started to freeze up and not work right. Is there a uconnect module that needs to be replaced? Maybe the radio was fine?? I dont know..going to the dealer tomorrow. Will see if they have any answers.

Re: Uconnect phone not working all of a sudden...

Just for info, I had the same problem, read this whole thread and proceeded to pull my M10 fuse. I then started the truck for about 30 seconds, replaced the fuse and all works fine now. I guess everything needs a kick in the butt once in a while!!

Thanks for all of your help on the thread, awesome!!

Re: Uconnect phone not working all of a sudden...

For those of you that tried to pull the fuse, I wanted to clarify: did you pull the M12 for the radio/amp or the M10 for the universal garage door opener? Most of you posted it was the M10, but I don't see how that would affect the stereo. Thanks!

Update: Took car to the dealer this morning. They pulled a fuse for a couple of minutes or so then put it back in. He didn't try to restart the radio with the fuse out. Said it may/may not work, but that Chrysler is supposedly mailing all owners a CD to update the software for the UConnect. Should receive in the next week or so. My UConnect still doesn't work so I'll have to see if the software update fixes it.
