Uconnect question - shuffle

I have my iPod hooked up with a USB cable and like for it to Shuffle through all the songs. So it does shuffle when I hit the shuffle button in the upper right hand corner but when I shut off the car and start it back I have have to hit the shuffle button every time. It's a minor annoyance but would think that the system would remember your last setting upon turning off the car and restarting, should this not be the case and is there possibly a solution ? Thank You

Re: Uconnect question - shuffle

Mine worked the same way until I unhooked the iPod and started playing music then set shuffle on the iPod. When you reconnect the iPod it should be defaulted to shuffle. At least that's how I got mine to stay on shuffle after shutting my Jeep off and restarting. YMMV

Good Luck

Re: Uconnect question - shuffle

Mine behaves the same way playing an SD card, shut down on shuffle, start up and it's not on shuffle anymore. Weird thing is it decided on the next restart to play the card in song name alphabetical order, I thought it was still in shuffle until I realized the last 5 songs it played started with the letter S...

Don't you hate that... but as well as that problem.... our shuffle has problems staying engaged even if the car is not turned off

Re: Uconnect question - shuffle

I don't know if it would help.

Using an sd card I was having problems with shuffle when using the touch screen. I tried using vr and everything has been working properly.

Note, it was not the same issue, but might be worth a try.
