I had decided to hold out for a 2014 diesel but just found a 2011 Laredo 3.6 with a couple options. 34,000 miles, certified, and $23,900. Seems like a really good price and I'm thinking I could drive it for a year or two then upgrade to a CRD without losing money. I'm not happy with my 2011 Liberty so maybe I'm just Looking for a reason to get rid of it but it seemed like a good price. Thoughts?
Thanks for the replies. I've been thinking about it and even at a good price I don't think it makes sense for me. Either way I want a 2014 CRD. I don't want to deal with depreciation on 2 vehicles in a couple years. I'll probably keep the Liberty for now..
Keep what you have and wait for the diesel if that's what you really want.
Also, being "CERTIFIED" doesn't mean shit. After my 4Runner was totaled I test drove a bunch of "CERTIFIED" vehicles from Toyota, Jeep, Ford, etc... The majority of them had brake or suspension/alignment issues. They don't check out the cars. They might put a scan tool on them but a scanner isn't going to pick up that the brakes are soft and make noise and that the clunk in the left rear is an issue. If it's not a sensor or computer problem, they won't find it. They'll wash the car and make it "shiny". That's it. Don't trust them.
