Re: Vehicle shut down at 110km/h, any one else have similar experience?

Weird - a lot of things aren't adding up, are you telling us everything? Sorry for your issues, it sucks.

I have placed a formal request for a refund under acl section 260. They denied their responsibility so I reported them to accc and Cttt

Please keep us/me informed. I still have not had an answer on how all my paint defects are going to handled and hence will also be addressing the matter to ACC and FT if response is not received soon or are unacceptable.

It seems Chrysler Jeep Australia have some serious issues (numerous issues) to address.

Well we had our first hearing/ mediation yesterday. Basically Jeep and the dealership were told to think long and hard about complying with my request for a refund as on the evidence put forward to date I had a very good case that could quite easily set a preecident. They tried to tell me the manual says not to leave your keys in the car, but I hit back with the fact the manual also states it will warn me before going into lockdown.......game on Chrysler...there are some fights even large corporations cannot win.

I can't see this playing out too well for Chrysler

Hi Gribbs,

Any further developments on your case? I havent had issues but I'm curious to learn how these processes go.

Moving slowly, they are replacing my tyres for free, as I told them if I have to pay for them I'll put muddies on, and they would still end up paying for them at tribunal. They have till the end of next week to provide their evidence on how they have fixed the issues (they haven't). And they were advised at the last hearing to negotiate with me prior to the next hearing
