Vehicle simply won't start

Hi all,
I have a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo.
Over the past month or so it's been failing to start at all. The engine tick over, the lights come on but nothing happens.. A nightmare.
Sometimes it won't start for like 3-6 times and them vroom something kicks in and it starts.
It's not the battery and I have fuel in the tank.
The dealership took the vehicle, change the right fuel pump. I got car back and then whilst driving the check engine light came on. Then an hour later it wouldn't start again. I took it back to dealership and the took another five days to replace to left fuel pump. Both under warranty of course.
Now I've had it back for two days and it's not starting again. It's such a pain in the balls and so inconvenient and now they won't give me a free rental car either and I'm losing out on work because I don't have a vehicle.
Does anyone know at all what the problem could be? A lot of people telling me it could be the technical system which is obviously very dangerous and therefore a lot of people are telling me to look into the lemon law.
Any thoughts or help would be massively appreciated.
Thanks
Chris

sounds like a starter relay or the solenoid on the starter itself, check the connections on the starter, thats what happened on my 08. tightened the connections and it fires every time now.

If "the engine ticks over," then it sounds like the engine cranks but doesn't catch and the starter is working fine. That means it's some sort of fuel problem. I've had this happen twice in the last six months. I've read in these forums that it can help to open and close the fuel tank filler cap, supposedly because it equalizes the pressure in the tank. I haven't yet had a chance to try this myself.

on mine it would "Tick" (diffrent from turning over) one time and do nothing after that. it would tick once everytime i went to crank it, sounded like the starter solenoid would engage but wouldnt crank the motor over
