Vibrating / Shaking after offroading

I took my Wk2 to some offroad trails last weekend in florida. Lots of loose sand and clay. Got my front end stuck in a mud hole pretty bad, mud was up to grill. AFtgerwards the undercarrage was covered and clogged with mud / clay.

Now the jeep virates at idle pretty bad and its scaring me. I spent two hours underneath with hose and hands removing all gunk i could find. It still does this. seems worse with AC on but the whole thing shakes. It does calm down while driving but when i pull up to light or just start jeep the roughnesss comes back. I dont think i got any water into the air intake. What else could this be? Vaccum tube? clogged ac compressor? The whole jeep shakes. Im going to take it into the dealer this weekend but I wanted to check with you all first.

honestly you probably pushed a great shield the wrong way and it's rubbing into the exhaust. Take a look at your exhaust pipes and see if anything is touching them. If not, have a look at your engine cover. I had the same rough idle and it turned out to be the engine cover

Re: Vibrating / Shaking after offroading

FIXED:

Turns out the plastic clamp that held my upper radiator hose up from the engine fan broke and the fan was clanking against my hose. The dealer sold me a new host with a metal clip (guess plastic ones were breaking often) and she sounds as good as new. Thank god.

I love it when a plan comes together.
