Re: Vibration in the 2014 grand cherokee summit
Chinny12: I know the feeling. I had mine bought back in October 2013 (April 2013 build - Limited). I replaced it with +Aug 2013 Overland. Chrysler made me drive it and verify it did not have the vibration before they approved the swap. I would take a vehicle that has the vibration shimmy to a tire manufacturer service center for their balancing and not go more than 2 visits with the dealer before starting the escalation with Jeep. Some are simply bad tires, that is good. However, if you have one of the dreaded ones, you are in for a long drawn battle that eventually you will win. I love my new Jeep. I haven't been in for more than some firmware updates when I had the oil changed, but nothing unscheduled. Word of advice - drive thorougly before you buy - if it drives fine at speeds up to 70, it will be good from there on out unless something definitively breaks. Broken parts can be fixed.
