Cool, just be careful when they say that.... They likely did but you should ask them if they Rim matched them to the optimal assembly balance. even people with this machine dont bother because you have to break the seal again and rotate the tire to the optimal point. Mechnic usually just looks at the screen as say "ah good enough"

Re: Vibration on 2014 Overland on speeds over 65 mph

I am having similar vibration issues with my 2014 overland. Mine almost feels like two separate vibrations. One in the steering wheel and you can actually see it shaking. The other I feel in the seat and in my legs. Sometimes I only feel one of the two and sometimes I feel them both together and the entire vehicle shakes. I have now been to the dealer 6 times for it over the last few weeks and have a case opened with Chrysler. The dealer road forced the original Forteras 2 times that did not fix it so they replaced all 4 tires. That did not fix the issue and it has been back 3 more times. The dealer had it for 3 days last week and said they took it to a local tire shop who road forced the tires as well and didn't see any problems. I just did a 1000 mile road trip this past weekend and the vibration is still there. I will be calling Chrysler again today to see what they say.

Well in the past the four new tires has certainly corrected that problem so this is a little bit unusual

Re: Vibration on 2014 Overland on speeds over 65 mph

Mine have been perfect up until this morning where I felt a vibration. Funny that way. I'll keep an eye on them. I also have a Honda with some nylon belts instead of steel and those tires get out of round by sitting too long. I have to drive them for about 15 minutes to warm them up back into round. Probably not the same issue with the Jeeps though.

What you are describing is exactly what mine does. I have only gone to the dealership once and they did a balance of all tires last week. Felt the steering wheel vibration and saw it the next day on my way home from work. However, I have not had the steering wheel vibration issue since then but I have been feeling the seat/legs vibration, which I thought was the road, but now it seems like I am not the only one. I was going to go to the dealership again and see if they could figure it out, but from what you say they have not clue yet. So Im going to hold off and see what they tell you. Keep us updated so that I have something to go on when I do make it to the dealership.

I'm gonna be honest with you! So far I've had a 2013 Limited, 2014 Limited and now a 2014 Overland. All brand new and all three did the exact same thing at high speeds! Not sure why but after the third Jeep I just chalked it up to it is what it is....

All 20" Fortera I guess?

Why I negotiated with my dealer to have them swapped with Michelins prior to delivery

Re: Vibration on 2014 Overland on speeds over 65 mph

Do you notice the seat/leg/foot vibration only in 8th gear?

I have the same vibration, but will go away if you downshift to 7th.

I remember reading Touareg forums while researching the GC and there was a SW update that fixed a transmission vibration.

Pretty convinced this is my issue. Not only does it go away in 7th, but it only vibrates when maintaining speed or slightly accelerating. If I take my foot completely off the gas and coast in 8th...it also goes away.

Is yours a Hemi?

May know what this is if I can find that out.
