It is at the dealer. They said they rebalanced all four but still vibrated. They then swapped wheels-tires in mine with three others. Same vibration. They were going to put summit wheels on it to test a theory of the wheels being the issue - hadn't heard how that faired. They have calls to Engineering but the regional guy is on vacation until Monday. I know it is getting attention as Jeep Customer Care has been calling to provide updates and checking with the dealer. I'm sure it will get resolved based on commitment from JCC that was conveyed - they agree it isn't right.

Re: Vibration on 2014 Overland on speeds over 65 mph

Mine is still at the dealer. After a week at the dealer they called and said they couldn't reproduce the vibration which is impossible as noticeable as it is. So I went in yesterday morning and went for a drive with the service manager. Got it on the highway and up to 70 and the vibration starts. His response was oh yeah I feel that in the seat, armrest, and door. He agreed something was still wrong and needed to be fixed. He still thinks it is tires. This whole process is getting exhausting even with Chrysler Enhanced Customer Satisfaction team working with the dealer. In the past month I have spent more time in a rental Chrysler 200 then my new Jeep.

So I took a short all highway trip today around 60 miles round trip.....I was always wondering if the change in suspension height was the problem with the vibration...I always go to park /exit mode to park...I never paid attention to if I was low before coming to a stop...which Is when it hit me...my father in law was playing with the lift the other day while parked and I realized that the stress on the bead in centering of the tire was being messed with .....so today I MADE SURE that I was completely lowered before stopping and wouldn't raise until moving....it seemed to make a difference, it was still there but no where close to when my father in law was doing it while parked ..... Just a thought hope this can help

I'll have to respectfully disagree with your theory.

I am happy to say they fixed my truck. They did a road force balance and that got it all squared away. It's perfectly smooth on the road now

Re: Vibration on 2014 Overland on speeds over 65 mph

Update: Jeep Enhanced Customer Care checks with the dealer and then calls me everyday - usually nothing new to report, but this is decent follow-up that is appreciated. Dealer is working with the regional field rep who was there today to test 2 others on the lot doing the same vibration. He said there are few doing this but they have been able to resolve through tires if the balance doesn't work. Mine goes back to them for a day next week for them to run some sets. I hope that does the trick. At least no one has said, that is the way it is. All agree that it shouldn't shimmy.

Re: Vibration on 2014 Overland on speeds over 65 mph

Here is an update on mine. After over two weeks at the dealer they called today and told me it was fixed. I picked it up this afternoon and immediately got it on the highway and it has the exact same vibration. Nothing has been fixed. I don't even know where to go from here, but I am now waiting for a call from my Chrylser Enhanced Customer Statisfaction Case Advocate.

I have now been to the dealer 6 times for it over the last few weeks and have a case opened with Chrysler. The dealer road forced the original Forteras 2 times that did not fix it so they replaced all 4 tires. That did not fix the issue and it has been back 3 more times. The dealer had it for 3 days last week and said they took it to a local tire shop who road forced the tires as well and didn't see any problems. I just did a 1000 mile road trip this past weekend and the vibration is still there. I will be calling Chrysler again today to see what they say.

I am having the same problem with my 2014 GC Jeep Summit. Completed the same steps....do you have a good number for Chrysler.
