Has any one felt a vibration on take of on a 2011 grand cherokee? The vibration goes away after the Jeep hits 20 MPH. Any help with this problem would be great

Where do you think the vibration is coming from?
The reason I ask, is I have a rattle (could be vibration?) coming from what seems to be down low center console floor area by my gas pedal foot? My service guy thinks it may be a heat shield rattle, but it's still there after he looked at it.

I have a quick shudder around 40mph when applying gas. Mechanic said he thinks its the torque converter and said it just needs to break in. He said to give it till I have 1000 miles on the car and if its still there, he will look deeper. Maybe you have the same issue.

Like Technosavant I wonder what engine the OP has?

Here is a new TSB for the V6 which covers possible torque converter vibration and noise due to incorrectly torqued bolts. See TSB 21-001-11, Feb. 15, 2011 (from wk2Jeeps.com):

Show it to your mechanic if you have the V6.

I didn't encounter the "shudder" until about 2000 miles. I now have close to 4000 miles and everytime I try to accelerate heavy from 40 mph, the infamous "shudder" makes me step off the gas and try again. Getting pretty annoyed with it.
