This is a known issue with Uconnect and iPhone iOS 8.1 and up. According to the folks at Uconnect, Apple changed some of their Bluetooth communication parameters with iOS 8.1. As a result, the voice recognition with phone-book entries is an issue. You ask UConnect to "Call Steve mobile" and it comes back "do you want to call Meredith at home?" WTF!! When I had my Android, late last year, I had ZERO issues with it and it worked flawlessly. Now, I have to initiate the phone call on my iPhone and then it works fine. I can say "redial" and it works. My issue is only with initiating hands-free calls from the phone-book.

When I spoke to UConnect two months ago, I was told they are still working on the issue.... I checked the website yesterday, and they still have only iOS 8.0 compatibility. We are now on iOS 8.3!... GGRRRRRR...

My Android LG G2 is flawless coupled with my Uconnect. Just another of many reasons why I'm glad I chose Android.
