Come on. He provided an answer. Now we just have to wait for somebody to ask the appropriate question.

Re: Walking up to my Jeep and!

Mine honked three times at me when I walked away from it going into work. Thought that was weird. I'll need to go through the EVIC settings.

So you're one of those people who overpay $$$ so they can save $ on gas?

We use Stop and Shop credits.

We've saved as much at $2.00 / gal and filled both cars at once (Credits are valid per fill). With a limit of 35 gallons.

She doesn't overpay. They have deals where if you buy any 3 of these 10 items you get say 500 points (which is $0.50 a gallon off).

My wife won't buy those things unless she sees it's stuff she normally buys. It might make us try a different brand on something which is partly what it's intended to do.

They also just give straight points. You get so many points for so many dollars spent. Period. Use them or lose them.

Only Shell Stations offer it, which is not always the cheapest gas. Often $0.10 higher than other stations. I pass plenty of shell stations and we often shop at Stop & Shop and there are a few of those around.

The number of deals and points has gone WAY up since a Wegman's moved in near by.

I turned that option off because it was turning my headlights on every time I got something out of the car in my garage, or cleaning it out, etc. would be cool if it used the light sensor to know whether to turn on the headlights.

Seems only one grocery chain and one gas chain in an area are allowed to do the gas promotion. There must be a franchise fee or some other exclusive arrangement. It is Price Chopper and Sunoco here. My sister in Ohio has others. The gas deal here was cut back some when grocery price competition heated up.

So the question is this thing supposed to be doing this because if it is that would be very nice, but it would also mean mine only does once every 3 to 4 months witch would suck.

I have a similar ghost in mine. It's happened maybe 4 times in the past two years, but i will get out of the jeep and lock it, and then I will here it lock itself again...weird

Ghosts seem common with these vehicles. I opened up my tailgate at lunch today using the button on the tailgate and my alarm went off.

Re: Walking up to my Jeep and!

My 2012 Grand Cherokee Laredo will fail to lock doors because it thinks the keys are still in the truck. Happens very rarely

I have found that if I stand about 5 feet away from the jeep and shake the fob in my hand I can make the lights turn on. Also the setting in the Uconect is for how long the lights will stay on when you unlock the doors with the unlock button not on walk up. I couldn't find anything in the manual about the lights coming on when you walk up. This is very weird almost like a feature that doesn't work but there is nothing in the manual about it.
