warnng lights after offroading

Have a brand new GC Ltd (one month old) and have had two incidents already, both after off-roading. In the first one the service 4WD light came on and my front wheels stopped working. I switched to 4WD low and got off the beach but the warning message stayed on. While I was waiting for a tow, I tried restarting the car and all was OK. Brought it to the dealer who flashed the component and said all was now fixed. Went back off-roading to see if problem fixed and this time the ESC light came on and stayed on, and the cruise control stopped working as well. After 2-3 restarts later in the day the light went back off and the Cruise control started working again. The dealer said this was normal! He said that if the car senses a slipping wheel the ESC light will stay on for several cycles, and when that light is on the CC won’t work. That makes no sense to me – that every time my wheel slips I have a warning light and no CC for a day or two.
Any ideas on this? The only TSB on the ESC is related to sensitive, not really my issue.

Last winter, after coming out of a long stretch of deep unplowed snow on a country laneway (hundreds of metres), I had the ESC light come on and the cruise control did not work on the highway. I had only a short drive to get home and made it with no problems. The next morning I started the Jeep, the ESC light was off and cruise worked fine again. It has never happened again, so I don't worry about it.

ESC Light came on

I was not offroading. My ESC light came on tonight and stayed on. It was raining outside and I turned on the windshield wipers because they did not automatically wipe away the rain. I have no interior lights that work. The light on the 4 wheel drive turn know doesn't show. I have no operating turn signals. The lights on the vanity mirrors don't work. I got home (very short drive about six blocks). Turned car off. Re-started and no change. Did it a third time and no change. Was fine when I parked it. Anyone have any idea what's going on??????
