Is it possible to get a maintenance warranty? Like the sorts of BMW maintenance free 4 yr coverage on new vehicles. In case your not familiar with it. Basically all you do is put gas and that's it. A light bulb goes out and is replaced by dealer at no cost, oil changes, anything and everything.

Let's not start a war in "I can change my own oil or whatever". Just want to know if possible to get something like that for a new JGC.
Thanks.

Simply visit www.ChryslerWarrantys.com and use PROMO CODE L63977 and $205 will be deducted from any plan you choose. This is a real Chrysler backed extended warranty, honored by every Chrysler dealer in the country. You can be covered up to 100,000 miles, with the most extensive coverage available. Save hundreds $$$$ over regular dealer pricing. We sell in volume and pass the savings on to you.

Price is better with the discount. I just have to wait until next year to purchase my extended.

When I purchased mine I compared this to Zeigler (linked by Jacko) and Zeigler was less expensive. Zeigler is a Chrysler/Jeep dealer and is selling Chrysler warranties.

I think if you wait more than a year or 12,000 miles you may pay a higher price. Double check that lest you wait too long.

The 3 yr bumper to bumper factory warranty is just 1 yr short of what you want, and when I bought mine the dealer threw in 4 yrs of free oil changes. Unless you put exceptionally high mileage on your vehicle, the factory warranty should take care of you. And don't forget the 5 yr, 100k drivetrain warranty. And of course there's the extended service contracts this thread is all about. I doubt I'll be doing much out of pocket maintenance on my Jeep for a good long while.

Jacko,
Does the 3 yr bumper to bumper warranty covers everything on the vehicle except oil changes or what does it not cover?

Re: Warranty Pricing???? Help!

You should be able to answer all your warranty questions at Jeep.com
Wear items are not covered.

Like Bill said, all this is covered on jeep.com. Basically the B to B warranty covers anything that is a manufacturing defect. Normal maintenance and regular wear and tear is the owner's responsibility. Many dealers throw in the oil changes, and as I said before, extended service contracts are available. We still have to take care of our toys, maybe if they charged 10 grand more for the vehicle the company could pick up the normal maintenance for a while.

I do the same thing. I don't want to talk with anyone unless I am ready to deal. I want all negotiations, at least initially, via email. Its just a lot easier to fire off a bunch of emails and then sort through the responses after and see what I want to do as a starting point.

Re: Warranty Pricing???? Help!

I paid 2200 fox a Max Care 100 lifetime. 200 for the 60 month 5 year oil change and 300 for a 5 year tire and wheel coverage. I like to keep cars a long time. With all of the tech on a Summit this will prove to be a good deal.

Winecity, the oil change is something you can do at any jeep dealer or only at the dealer you bought it at? The tire/wheel warranty covers what, if you don't mind checking it out.

Re: Warranty Pricing???? Help!

The oil change is a Mopar product and can be done at any dealer like the Maxcare warranty. The wheel and tire is with the dealer.
