Water Leak

I have water leaking into my Jeep from somewhere, the drivers side floor was wet the other day so I had it to the dealership, and of course they couldn't find anything wrong. Now today I go out and after driving the Jeep a few miles to get gas, I notice water dripping from right behind the front wheel well on the drivers side, seems to be coming out from the black wheel well molding. I think this is how the floor may be getting wet when I drive. Any ideas what it could be?, I hate to take it back to the dealership and waste a whole day for them to find nothing wrong.

Mwb, there have been a few leak issues on the WK2 though not sure if source has been chased down yet. Check a search on this board, one or two seem to come from the windshield and/or sunroof. Others seem to show water collecting in the underseat areas either driver or passenger battery tray - the TSB for the gas tank baffle also refers to this issue. Good luck and let us know how it works out.

Suggest they get a person who specialized in water leaks or ask to bring it/get reimbursed if you bring it to someone who specializes in water leaks. My issue was the sunroof drain however it collected in the battery box, no wet floors. The guy mentioned other areas of concern are a point on the left side of the vehicle (dont remember where) and the middle of the windshield dripping onto the dash. However mine luckily was a clogged sunroof drain only..

It seems to be coming from directly under the center of the floor mat, there is no water on the sides near the pedals or on the side by the door between the door and the floor mat. I have the same slush mats that you have and the dealer thought that maybe the water had gotten in by the door and since the mats fit snug that maybe it was difficult to dry the floor out, I am skeptical of that. I think that something is leaking, maybe a drain hose or something and when I drive the water gets blown against the underside of the floor board and is leaking in that way. Dealer let it run in the service department and didn't notuice any water collecting. I've been checking it daily, doesn't seem to be getting any worse.
