Maybe I can avoid driving over 110km/hr as well cause I get steering wheel shake/shimmy... Had tires road forced balanced still shakes... dealer says normal...

I guess I could just not drive the jeep then I wouldn't have any problems.

Great idea. I was trying to figure out how to avoid going back to the dealer for a fourth time in three weeks of ownership. If I was a premium member, I would "thank" you. :-)

I had one of the first GMC Acadias. First rain storm, a huge amount of water poured out from under the dash onto my wife's feet. Turns out the drain tubes were not routed correctly. Was a common problem that eventually led to a recall (one of nearly a dozen I had on that vehicle). Knock on wood, my Jeep has been great so far. Only issue has been figuring out all the UConnect options and settings. Guess I'm kind of slow.

Re: Water Leak Pano Sunroof

Had a Patriot with the sunroof Had it back to 5 different dealers to repair the leaks mostly coming from the overhead console They were never able to fix it from new gaskets to the drain tubes Had to trade the car in for a liberty no sunroof now 2014 limited no sunroof

Be sure to document everything and get all the info I wasnt able to do NYS lemmon law because it wasnt mechanical!!!
I will admit the all worked very hard to correct the problem and did their best

but never again sunroof

It was a minimal amount of water, but was still there.

Very happy with it and so far only issue I've had with it. But it might be normal. And just the drain system.
I have the same issue...water where the pano roof rails are. Is that normal??

Re: Water Leak Pano Sunroof

Well, after 17 months of ownership, my 2014 Overland has developed the leaking issue. It showed up as a leak to the front corner of the sunglass holder and it also for the headliner in that section wet.

Looks like a trip to the dealership is order. I have 2 safety recalls to also take care of anyway.

Pretty sure it was the drain tubes being pinched. Make sure they check that. I haven't had any issues since...knocking wood!

Re: Water Leak Pano Sunroof

So, according to the dealership, my issue was plugged drain lines for the pano sunroof. I find it hard to believe, since the vehicle is only 1.5 years old and I have never left the sunroof open while the vehicle has been parked.

He told me that this is common among vehicles with sunrooves (grammar?) This is the 6th vehicle I've owned with a sunroof (1987 Honda Accord, 1993 Honda Accord, 1999 Jeep GC Limited, 2008 Honda Civic Si, 2011 Honda Ridgeline RTL, and the 2014 Overland) and NONE of the previous vehicles ever had an issue with leaking.

I cited faulty design and he looked at me like I had 8 heads.

I had a 1983 Honda Accord SE that developed this problem over time. It got progressively worse over time, even after cleaning out the drains. I finally gave up when the car was 19 years old with 197,000 miles on it and the transmission went out.

Re: Water Leak Pano Sunroof

Well, it's 3 weeks since the dealer's service dept "cleaned' the vent tubes and I'm still getting water. I haven't opened the roof since the last service, so not sure what's up. Seal? Roof alignment?

I guess it's going back to the dealer.

If it was faulty design they would all leak. Mine doesn't leak so I think that rules out design. You probably have a pinched drain tube or something.
