Re: Weak A/C?

Cant see why the 2014 would be different to the 2011. Would have thought if anything they would have done more improvements

Re: Weak A/C?

Temperature up here in Mass was middle 90's over the weekend...A/C worked well...and my GC Limited V6 is black on black! A/C was set on manual, and the temp.."LO".

What I did notice though it definitely helps to have the dash vents adjusted correctly so the breeze blows towards you, as well as having most of the air coming out the dash vents and not towards the floor.

What also helped was getting the front windows tinted this weekend as well.

Re: Weak A/C?

Any chance the A/C is tied to the temperature settings for driver - passenger? If so, the "computer" may determine a rather weak flow will reach a relatively high temp setting, whereas a strong air flow will be needed for reaching a very low temp setting.... (You realize I have absolutely no idea whether or not this is a factor; I'm stuck inside so I'm playing with the computer.)

Re: Weak A/C?

My opinion is that it is more physics and less computer programming. Parking in the sun is going to heat the vehicle more than parking in the shade given the same air temperature. Therefore it will take longer to cool down the vehicle parked in the sun. Thus remote start was invented.
