Weak A/C?

First really hot day in NC. Had a 20 min drive to lake after a bday party where the jeep was out in the sun for 30 or so min.

The ac felt decently cold at first but took a really long time to cool. Was finally cool about 20 min when we arrived at lake.

Anyone else think the ac has a problem? And tsb for this?

Re: Weak A/C?

It could be not an AC itself but software for climate control.

There was a TSB for HVAC but I don't know if it fixed what you experience:

I had it done - I had first symptom from the list.

I have not had any issues so far, and we have had a few 80 degree days. When it is hot outside, I hit the recirculate button once it begins to cool down and then it really cools down quick... AUTO mode with the recirculation button works great for me...

Hoping it works? That's kind of a scary thought. The current state of automobile a/c is supposed to work in 120F. (I'm liking my current car more and more as we've been in the 100's in Phoenix, AZ. Maybe a JGC isn't in my future after all. Gotta take care of the daily driving requirements before concentrating on anything else.)

Re: Weak A/C?

The issue isn't how our current cars/ a/c has worked in recent hot summers. The issue is how the 2014 JGC a/c will work in this summer's heat.
