Weird EVIC AVG Fuel Economy Behavior

I have had my JGC X for just over a week. Since I have had it the AVG MPG in the fuel economy menu in the EVIC has been steadily climbing as to be expected.

Today when I left the office it was reading 18.2 mpg ( where it was when I turned it off in the morning ) After driving for about 15 minutes it was reading 5 MPG and then steadily climbed all the way back up to 20.2 mpg?

Any ideas?

Re: Weird EVIC AVG Fuel Economy Behavior

My guess is you accidentally hit the '->' key while in the MPG display and reset the average. I've done this several times. I wish you had to hold the button for 1 or 2 seconds before it reset.

Yeah, I accidentally reset mine, too, at about 175 miles.
