Well let's see what they fix.

Taken jeep in for visor recall, fuel door, squeaky drivers seat, whine noise every once and a while when letting off gas and the fact I don't like the shifting. If they call and say they can't replicate the noise I am telling them your holding on to it till it does.

Re: Well let's see what they fix.

Just brought mine in today for a squeaky drivers seat. They said they put in a foam strip and lubricant to eliminate it. Walked out to see how it went. Seat was elevated and forward. Maybe it stopped in that position, but as soon as I put it in a position I could sit in......it still squeaks!! Service manager said that was all they could do, you'll probably just have to live with it. Turn up the radio. WTF I might have to try and fix it myself.

Re: Well let's see what they fix.

I got mine back and it didn't squeak but once I moved it to my memory position it still squeak. Moved seat to a new spot and it don't squeak. All I moved was lumbar adjustment. Recall went well checked everything over. They did trans update and couldn't replicate noise thinking update fixed it but if comes back bring it back. Fuel door I said not to worry about cause instead of them ordering and new assembly I might look and see what I can do. I think it just needs a little doubled sided tape on the one side or maybe some silicone to make it more secure.
