Re: What is this metal piece under the radio center stack that gets VERY hot? pic ins

My wife noticed an electrical burning smell several days ago on her 2013 GC. She took it in this morning to a jeep dealer in Phoenix. They told her there was nothing wrong. So I looked it up on Jeep Garage and found this post. If this was from the AC it should happen in summer not in winter with the heated seats on. As soon as my wife turned off the seat heater the smell went away. Anyone have any more info on this? This dealer will not get a return visit as they always say there is nothing wrong every time we have taken it in for problems.
